Obi-Wan Shinobi is a Midwest-based DJ and tastemaker with a decade of experience, known for blending underground club, hip-hop, and otaku culture into high-energy, multi-genre sets. He’s the founder and resident DJ of the touring cosplay dance series Glotaku. With a commitment to inclusivity and community-building, Obi-Wan Shinobi continues to bridge the gap between rave culture and nerd fandoms, providing a space where enthusiasts of all backgrounds can come together and celebrate their passions.

Kuuma 空マ」is a music, art & DJ project by Detroit producer Francis Cuthbert, deploying sometimes spare, sometimes brutal sonic productions while “flirting with the timbral quality of video games” (The Wire). Their live hardware and DJ sets have been heard around the midwest and east coast, performing at techno clubs, comic and anime conventions, avant-garde classical festivals, and as a resident with Glotaku and the Detroit Shipping Co. Kuuma comprises half of I-R (slashsound, Detroit Underground) and cohosts Patch Notes, a live modular synth series in Detroit's Cass Corridor. Expect Vocaloid, anime, and Dreamcast-era grooves infused with acid and 909s!.
TYP4.SZ
TYP4 is a Detroit-based DJ that emerged from the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk Freesoul community. Best known for contributing multiple live DJ sets to the netradio station and Freesoul community collective, Funky Uncle FM. Dubbed by his peers as “the master of footwork and provider of drum & bass”. He's often heard blending footwork, drum & bass, techno, and vgm. Creating fun, fast paced sets with heavy basslines. While still fairly new as a DJ to the local con/rave scene, TYP4 is one of Glotaku’s newest residents. Using the knowledge from his online sets, he’s been able to provide memorable performances and top notch energy. Whether it's the virtual streets of Mataan or the real streets of Detroit. He’s ready to take you for a ride!

18+ ONLY! MUST bring valid ID. You will not be allowed to enter without.
Food and drink are not allowed only water.
Bags will be allowed inside, Bags must be checked by staff before entering. Bags may be left by table/ ID check at attendees own risk.
If you appear under the influence you will be asked to leave.
Cosplay is not consent! Be respectful of those around you. Touching/ photographing people without consent is grounds for removal of not only the rave, but the convention as a whole!
